In this section of How to learn a Language, I'm going to say to you some tricks to improve grammar and vocabulary.But first, let's see why is important to learn English grammar and vocabulary.
Although grammar is not essential for learning a language, grammar helps us to learn the structure of a sentence correctly, and as a result, the message that we want to convey, is going to be clearer and concise. And if we know more vocabulary than the essential, when we want to communicate something our message will be wealth.
Learn English grammar, can be complicated so you will need the following tools, which are INDISPENSABLE:
- A good dictionary
- A grammar book
First point: a dictionary.
How to get it? How to know which one is right for me?

There you can find the dictionary that fit your needs. You should not look at the price. You have to look for one that have quality, because your dictionary will be with you all the life.
Also we can find via online dictionaries that as well are good.
Try to visit http://www.wordreference.com and http://dictionary.reference.com/
It could be very useful to have a paper dictionary and an online one.
Second point: a grammar book.
We are going to practise grammar, so have only a dictionary is not sufficient. As it happened in the case on dictionaries, we can found online grammar books, grammar lessons and grammar textbooks.
With this you will be able to practise what you want to improve. For example, lets have a look on http://www.english4today.com/englishgrammar/grammar/index.cfm .
Do a click on Home Page. There you have a very long list classified by Adjectives, adverbs, verbs and tenses and more grammar lessons. Click in whatever you need. It will appear the explanations of the theme. When you have clear the topic, go to the top of the webpage and do a click to English Test List, go to Language tests and games. There it will appear a full list of tests.
